With greater than 10 years of experience as a trainer, Niels was the strength and conditioning coach for the Colombian Davis Cup Team for 3 years and concurrently the individual strength and conditioning coach for on the ATP tour for Colombian Tennis players Santiago Giraldo (who reached his highest ranking ever-26th in the world while under Niels’ tutelage), Alejandro Falla, Rob Farrah and Juan Cabal. Athletes from the LPGA, PGA and NCAA trust their strength and conditioning programming to Niels to ensure they are in peak physical condition. Niels specializes in injury prevention and sports performance.
Andrew attended Lansing Community College before beginning the Blue Heron Academy for Exercise Science and has more than 10 years experience as a trainer. He has a background in holistic health and wellness and is a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist. He is the nutritionist for the Colombian Davis Cup Team and has provided nutrition programming to a multitude of professional athletes. He was featured on the CNN HLN Daily Share for his client’s 62 pound weight loss and the recipient of the 2013 and 2015 Bradenton Herald’s Best of Bradenton in the Nutritionist category. He is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the USAW as a strength and conditioning coach.
A Registered Nurse by trade, Tori has always made health and wellness a priority. She has competed in several athletic competitions across the state with superior results and stands as an example of what dedication and hard work can accomplish. Most recently, she completed her USA Weightlifting Strength Coach certification.
Joshua Conn, a seasoned athlete having competed in 22 triathlons, a multitude of running races and a 10 hour adventure race, began his journey with Fit Crew Bradenton in 2012 and was immediately hooked. Josh began working tirelessly on skills and technique. His enthusiasm for training made for an easy transition from athlete to coach. He is certified by USA Weightlifting as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. When Joshua is not at Fit Crew, he can be found spending time with his wife Anna and their two sons and coaching youth soccer and varsity basketball.
Keith’s innate athletic ability and charisma make him a natural leader in group training. Born and raised in Manatee County, Keith played varsity soccer at Bradenton Christian School. Keith began as a trainer with Fit Crew in 2012. He honed his training skills in Los Angeles California while pursuing an acting career (He is best known for his role in Muse) for a year before returning to Fit Crew in late 2015. Keith completed his Crossfit Level I certification, has his master personal fitness phase 2 certification with AAA/IMSMA and specializes in coaching technique.
With a background in level 9 competitive gymnastics, track and field, and volleyball, Judy is no stranger to health and wellness. In college, Judy was a NCAA athlete- playing volleyball for Limestone College and Lander University while pursuing a degree in Biology. Judy then took on the role of the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at Dickinson College. Since moving to Florida, Judy signed on to be a FATE.FIT athlete and found interest in fitness modeling. Most recently, she completed her USA Weightlifting Strength and Conditioning Coach certification.
A local to the Manatee County area, Andre competed in track and field in high school before becoming the assistant coach for Manatee County’s Amateur Athletic Union track and field programs. In his first year with the AAU, 19 out of 30 of his athletes qualified for the Junior Olympics Games. Andre came to Fit Crew after building four years of experience in the industry, specializing in functional training and calisthenics. He is certified by ISSA as well as USA Weightlifting as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Andre is well known and liked for his involvement in the local community, and his energetic personality.
Deonte is a Manatee county native. He played football and track in high school at Manatee High, then continued on to be a 4-year starter Defensive Back at Mercyhurst University. Deonte specializes in personal fitness and sports performance training; outside of Fit Crew, Deonte currently volunteers as a coach for the Manatee High School JV football team.
Lori comes to the Bradenton area from Indianapolis, where she received a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology, worked in a hospital’s cardiac unit, and worked at Life Time Fitness. She has been practicing yoga for the past nine years and loves teaching it to others. Lori previously played volleyball in high school and went on to both coach intramural volleyball and lead elementary volleyball camps. Lori has a passion for health, fitness, and helping others discover their own love for exercise.
